Gaffer – Studio 121
|Richard Adams is the owner and one of the senior trainers at Studio 121. As a competitor in endurance events Richard enjoys helping prepare his clients for similar challenges. His knowledge of functional strength training has helped many clients achieve lifetime bests and most importantly kept them injury free. As a strength and conditioning coach he has worked with a number of local athletes in Rugby, Athletics, Golf, Rowing and Motor Racing.|
Having gained a high level of qualifications through the Poliquin Group Garry is an expert in programme design. His military background gives him an authoritative approach and expectation for high standards. In both his PT work and his classes Garry always gets the best out of his clients by consistently providing well considered innovative content.
Trainer / Researcher
Dale Grant is a personal trainer at Studio 121. With a strong academic and applied background, Dale enjoys working with a wide range of clients of varying abilities. His scientific yet pragmatic approach has helped many clients achieve their health, performance and body composition goals. With a particular interest in muscle physiology, Dale is a keen believer in being active, and maintaining vitality as we age. Outside of the gym, Dale is currently undertaking a PhD in exercise and sport science at Manchester Metropolitan University, specifically investigating “The effects of physical behaviour upon metabolic & musculo-skeletal health”.
Personal Training &
Georgia has a broad experience in the fitness industry since starting her career in 2003. She has taught a wide variety of Fitness Classes from Barre Fit to Aqua Abs and has also gained great experience across the age ranges having worked with school children in the local area delivering the Core Fit classes and also working with the senior age group delivering Armchair exercise in Care homes.
Georgia has a high energy fun teaching style that generates a buzz in all her sessions. Being a competitive runner and cyclist she also understands the importance of preparation and recovery and coaches her clients on how to achieve longevity in training and stay injury free.
